We just wanted to send a special thank you to those of you who are mothers or are filling that role during this COVID-19 crisis. These are not easy times, and this is probably not how any of us thought we would spend Mother’s Day this year.
To those of you who gave birth during the quarantine and haven’t been able to introduce your baby to family and friends and are feeling very isolated;
For mothers who are trying to learn how to educate their children at home and sometimes feel inadequate;
For those who lost a baby and are suffering in silence during this social distancing;
To those on the frontlines, working hard and filled with concern about what you might bring home to their families;
To those who have suffered a heartbreaking loss of a family or friend and weren’t able to properly say goodbye or have a funeral because of the limitations on gatherings;
For mothers who are rejoicing in the slower pace and more time with their kids;
To those of you wishing you could hug your mother but are unable to today:
We have hope. We are not alone. We all feel the pain and heartache. We can rejoice in the triumphs and joys. We will get through this and come out stronger.
No matter how yours looks today, happy Mother’s Day.
