Here’s to a whole month of new releases!
The products from our first two quarterly boxes have been a great success! People loved the Milk Bath Salts and Baking Soda-Free Deodorant that were in our first quarter box.
Our first new product is a gorgeous new Milk Bath Salts made with dry milk, epsom salt, and essential oils ($5 value). We did tweak this a bit from the tester box, as most people didn’t like to mess with cleaning up the jasmine petals that were left behind in the tub. This product size will be good for a few baths; with an average-sized tub, this should be good for three baths! Milk is great for soothing dry, red, itchy skin. Epsom salt will give your body the extra magnesium boost your body needs, and essential oils give you many options for scents and helpful boosts of aroma. Our new Milk Bath Salts are available in our exclusive blends, Lavender, and Chamomile.
Next is a Baking Soda Free Deodorant that is made with magnesium hydroxide instead of baking soda. This ingredient is safer than aluminum and, for some, better than baking soda. Researchers have determined that sweat itself does not necessarily possess a scent; bacteria clinging to hair and skin are the cause of unpleasant odors in the underarm area or on other regions of the body. Clogged sweat ducts can lead to irritation, breakouts, infections, and other skin issues. Magnesium hydroxide is a beneficial alternative that neutralizes bacteria without blocking pores or stifling the skin. Our other deodorants utilize baking soda for this purpose, but baking soda can cause irritation, dryness, and discoloration, not to mention allergic reactions. Magnesium hydroxide can balance the body’s natural pH while blocking odor-causing bacteria without reducing skin moisture or causing skin damage.
Our final two products are from the 2nd quarter VIP box. First up is the Foaming Hand Soap! We will FINALLY have one! It has been a huge request year after year! This Foaming Hand Soap is made with a base to which we add our favorite fragrances. The first three scents we’re releasing are Bouquet, Sunflower and Summer (with the promise of your favorite holiday fragrances to come!).
Lastly is our Focus Essential Oil Exclusive Blend available in a wide range of products! Made with peppermint, frankincense, lime, and orange essential oils, Focus is the perfect aromatic blend to calm and focus your mind. Busy moms have been loving this blend, and we hope you will too!
Focus will be available in our From Scratch Soap, From Scratch Lotion, Lotion Bar, Milk Bath Salts, Mini Bath Bomb Set, Essential Oil, and a new fun twist, a Whipped Pumice Scrub! People have been asking for a new Pumice Scrub recipe, and Focus seems like a great option. Whether using it for the feet or face, these essential oils are great for skin repair!
(The From Scratch Lanolin Soap did well too; we’re going to save it for September or October. It’s more of a sweater weather soap!)
