Hi everyone! My name is Melissa. I have been married for almost 16 years and have one little man that just turned nine. I am a homeschool mom as of two years ago, and I have been a stay-at-home mom since our little guy came on the scene.
I have always tried to lean towards more “natural” products, but I wasn’t really diligent in it. A girl in one of my mom’s groups was having an HD party, and I had seen all the other moms raving about this natural Bug Spray and thought I could help out my friend and try this amazing Bug Spray. I have to say I was slightly skeptical because any other natural bug spray I tried never worked. I think I may have ordered a lippy on that order too. When the Bug Spray came we tried it out, and to my surprise it was truly amazing just like they said! It worked and was natural! I was sold.
In between my Bug Spray and the girl’s next party, my little guy had broken out in a bout of eczema and we had tried every cream under the sun. We had prescription creams, “natural” creams, any other cream you could think of. Nothing seemed to work. I went to Grand Rapids with my mom one day to visit my brother, and for some reason I had to take the road that the HD Soap store was on. My mom and I ran in to check it out, and while I was there I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask what they recommended for eczema. The lady working had said she had heard good things about the Calendula Balm Stick, and I had read that could help with it as well. So we bought one and thought it couldn’t hurt. Sure enough; within two days my son’s eczema spots were almost all cleared up! We couldn’t believe it! I was sold.
The girls in my mom’s group hosted a couple more parties after that, and at each one I thought about jumping on board, but I had been a part of so many sales things that I didn’t know if I wanted to do another one. I prayed about it and there was just something in me that was so excited about not only the Calendula Balm Stick and what it had done for my little guy, but that the company was local, I could physically go in a store, the owners were beautiful people and truly cared about their customers, and everything is made right here in the U.S. I loved knowing exactly what was going on my skin and my kiddo’s skin.
After I had my party and got all my goodies, I decided “You know what; why the heck not!” My mom and I and a few of my family members loved the stuff, and my kiddo’s skin did so well with it that it was kind of a no-brainer. The only regret I have is that I just didn’t jump sooner.
I may not be the top earner income-wise, but I have loved helping others find something that they feel good about using and helps their skin! It truly is a blessing and I am so glad that I have HD Soap in my life. A few of our favorite products besides our Calendula Balm would be the Bath Bombs, Lip Balms, and Creams. Of course the Body Butter ranks up there on that list as well! It is hard to pick your favorites when you love them all!
