Happy Thanksgiving from our HD family to yours!
Even though this has been a very strange year and Thanksgiving may have looked different for you and your family, we hope that you were able to take time to celebrate and give thanks for the many blessings in your life.
Christine, the owner of HD Soap, shared: “I am thankful for our team’s and our family’s adaptability in all these crazy times. I’m also thankful for the option to homeschool this year, and I’m especially thankful it has been a positive experience.”
Several of our consultants also shared what they are thankful for this year:

I’m thankful that through everything this year, God healed, saved and blessed my family! Two surgeries, one short hospital stay, massive storm damage to our yard, and many other little things that were just plain rough. But He healed my foot and ankle, He saved my husband’s life, He didn’t allow that tree to fall on our house while our family was inside, He brought my beautiful daughter to the saving knowledge of Him, and through ALL of that blessed us more than we have ever experienced. We have had the opportunity this year to bless other families when before this year, we were often the recipients of those needed blessings. ❤️

I am thankful for the gift of staying home, slowing down, and the opportunity to practice mindfulness more often. I’m thankful for the opportunity to explore the upper peninsula (after our original vacation was canceled) and to really take in the wonder of our state. I’m thankful to have discovered Schitt’s Creek!

I am thankful for extra family time and the ability to be able to slow down.

I am beyond thankful that God put a pause on my life. With a neverending to-do list, kids activities, working full-time and more, we were not focusing on what was important. Being forced to stay home and not have to do anything made me realize we needed to stop. We have learned so much about ourselves and each other and really look forward to and enjoy our time together. 2020 has been the hardest year for me, dealing with a lot of loss and grief. But having the love and closeness of my family makes it bearable. ❤️

I am thankful for more time with my kids, even though it has its moments of stress! I am thankful for the constant reevaluation of “what is important right now?”. I am also thankful that God answered my prayers of “what’s next?” right before the pandemic, and a church was birthed out of our home church. Bonus: we get to do it with some of our best friends. ❤️

I’m thankful for the stability of my husband’s job through the 2020 craziness, and the flexibility that allows me to stay home with our kids and navigate virtual school, OT appointments for my daughter, etc.
We would love for you to share what you are thankful for as well!
