Summer is upon us, and it feels like the perfect time to release a brand new product at HD Soap, along with three more amazing Square Bars as the final three soaps in our Square Bar Summer: Coconut & Lime, Lemon Basil, and White Tea & Bergamot.
The Coconut & Lime and Lemon Basil are made according to their original formula, but there is a slight change in the White Tea & Bergamot Square Bar, which is why we included it in this VIP. This updated recipe features the same great fragrance oil as before, but it will now be made with a goat’s milk base rather than a coconut milk base in order to keep costs low. Goat’s milk is the closest pH to our own skin, so it is popular for those with skin sensitivities. Goat’s milk contains precious skin minerals and is loaded with important vitamins, such as vitamin A. Those who suffer with skin problems like itchy skin, breakouts, or even aging skin may find relief using products with goat’s milk. We hope you enjoy this great new updated recipe!
So what’s the new product? How about a new lotion?! We formulated and tested an amazing From Scratch Lotion last summer and, with a few tweaks, it has come out perfectly! This recipe is made 100% From Scratch and is free from coconut oil. It will be available in all of the exclusive scents you have come to know and love from HD Soap. Enjoy this new lotion in Balance, Clear Your Mind, Relax, Sweet Citrus, and our unscented Original. We will be able to carry this amazing lotion year round, which is exciting for those months when it is difficult to ship our butters. And for a little something special! From Scratch Soaps are Christine’s favorite to formulate, and we can’t send out a VIP without one! This month’s selection is the Llama From Scratch Soap. Made with coconut oil, olive oil, hemp seed oil, and almond oil, this soap is a crowd pleaser. It has a bright and cheerful scent that is just perfect for summer. It’s also time for another new lip balm flavor! Vanilla Coconut is the perfect tropical twist on our olive oil-based lip balm.
