This was a soap we made together in Life of a Soapmaker. We love the green color from the spirulina! Seaweed is such a cool product for skin and hair care (it may even give activated charcoal a run for its money!). Spirulina facilitates faster cell turnover which can help speed up skin repair. It wards off free radicals and eliminates toxins from the skin to increase skin metabolism. It also works to prevent breakouts, and it may even speed hair growth or improve hair thickness. Spirulina contains amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamin A, and beta-carotene, all of which are great for hair. Read more about its benefits here.
Cedarwood, patchouli, and peppermint essential oils were chosen for their own amazing hair care benefits, and we love that this soap leaves behind a fresh smell and tingly clean sensation. This soap prominently features Shea butter, and it is amazing for both hair and skin!
We love this soap so much that we wrote an entire blog post about the amazing benefits!
