With this year’s huge transition to making all of our own candles, Wax Melts seemed like a natural product to add to our shelves! Because everything is hand-poured, Wax Melts are the perfectly-sized product that minimizes waste by repurposing any leftover wax that won’t fill our regular candle jars. Our three-ounce Wax Melts contain six breakable pieces. Use any wax warmer to enjoy our beloved HD Scents without a live flame. Wax Melts will be available in all the same great scents as our candles: Coconut, Fall, Lily, Hope, Sky, Pineapple Colada, Tropical Tangerine, and Sparkling Sangria.
Next up a new twist on one of our most famous products; get ready to love Sage & Tea Tree Toner! This toner features the addition of tea tree essential oil, and it should be your family’s first line of defense against lice. We know that no one wants to think about lice, but with kids heading back into the school after six months off, now is as good a time as ever! Tea tree oil can help fight a lice infestation, and it is also great in the battle against an itchy, flaky scalp. Our sage toner is so conditioning that it also works as a great detangler for snarly hair!
Two From Scratch Soaps will also hit the shelves this month: the Fire Soap is back, and our final social-made soap is debuting! What do these soaps have in common? Bold scents of spicy grapefruit, cedarwood, patchouli, amber, and mint, plus awesome additives like spirulina, pumpkin powder, annatto seed, and really rich fall colors!
Our Fire Soap was a 2019 Black Friday favorite! Even though we don’t have football here in Michigan this season, we can still have fun bonfires! Our From Scratch Fire Soap is a combination of warm spices and fresh grapefruit combined with cooler tones of amber, cedarwood and patchouli. We love how this fragrance lingers and smells great throughout the day; it’s the perfect combination of hot fall days and cool nights. Enjoy the colors from the pumpkin and annatto seed for a fiery swirl throughout!
Our social-made From Scratch Seaweed Soap is finally releasing! This was one of the last soaps we made together during lockdown. We love the green color from the spirulina! Seaweed is such a cool product for skin and hair care (it may even give activated charcoal a run for its money!). Spirulina facilitates faster cell turnover which can help speed up skin repair. It wards off free radicals and eliminates toxins from the skin to increase skin metabolism. It also works to prevent breakouts, and it may even speed hair growth or improve hair thickness. Spirulina contains amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamin A, and beta-carotene, all of which are great for hair. Cedarwood, patchouli, and peppermint essential oils were chosen for their own amazing hair care benefits, and we love that this soap leaves behind a fresh smell and tingly clean sensation. This soap prominently features shea butter, and it is amazing for both hair and skin!
There’s plenty more to love from HD Soap this season! To celebrate our love of everything fall, we developed a From Scratch Autumn Air Soap; it features a woodsy, earthy fragrance with notes of orchid, ylang ylang, sandalwood, patchouli, and freshly fallen leaves. If pumpkin-flavored coffee is more your taste, you’ll have to try the From Scratch Pumpkin Spice Latte Soap; it’s an exfoliating bar of soap with coffee grounds that delivers the delicious scents of nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger combined with dark rum, vanilla, and pumpkin puree. Speaking of pumpkin and spices, both our Pumpkin Pie Lip Balm and Candied Apple Lip Balm are back while supplies last! If apple pie is more your taste, stock up on our Baked Apple Pie Whipped Sugar Scrub or the Baked Apple Pie Square Bar; you’ll love the warm, delicious fragrance!
