Spotlight: Acai & Dragon Fruit Dry Mask

This face mask contains only three ingredients: dry coconut milk, acai powder, and dragon fruit powder. We will chat about each of these amazing ingredients so you will know what makes this face mask a “must-have” for your skincare routine. Dry coconut milk is the main ingredient, and you may be familiar with it already since it is in several of our dry masks. This powder is especially good for people with skin issues because it helps soothe inflammation. It also can help keep harmful bacteria at bay thanks to its cleansing properties. It is cooling, soothing, and helps with redness and swelling – which means it can also help you find relief if you have a sunburn or other skin irritations. It is also moisturizing for those who suffer with dry, itchy, or irritated skin.

Acai powder is a brand new ingredient to our shelves, but we hope that you are just as excited about it as we are. Acai berries (which are actually not a berry!) are packed with nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants to help keep your skin looking fresh and youthful. One of those vitamins is vitamin A, which encourages cell turnover. Getting rid of dead skin and revealing the new skin is one of the benefits of using a mask, which makes this ingredient doubly beneficial! Antioxidants are always a good quality to help fight wrinkles and fine lines and create a line of defense against future skin problems. This amazing fruit also naturally fights inflammation, which is incredibly helpful for a variety of skin issues.

Dragon fruit (also known as pitaya) powder is another brand new ingredient to our HD pantry! This powder is also packed with vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants that may help with a variety of skin issues. Some people use this powder to help lessen the signs of aging, fight blemishes, and soothe sunburn. This is because dragonfruit naturally minimizes inflammation and is especially high in vitamin C. It can also help moisturize the skin, which is a bonus for those who suffer from dry skin.
