Happy Friday the 13th! There are plenty of fun releases available that you won’t want to miss this month!
Our first product is a new specialty square bar: meet the Mermaid Bar! This layered glycerin soap is scented with a tropical combination of coconut and citrus. (Do you remember the Caribbean Rum Punch square bar from our April soap sale? The Mermaid Bar uses the exact same fragrance!) The teal layers create an ombre effect, and the soap has just a touch of pearly shimmer. This is the perfect bar for summer, whether you have mermaid scales or not!
A few weeks ago, we shared a blog post detailing a variety of HD Soap products that perform double-duty as hair products, like Sage Toner or our From Scratch Soaps. In the post, we hinted that something new was joining our haircare lineup: say hello to our brand new Hair Serum! This intense combination of oils enriches and hydrates hair, leaving behind strands that are soft and shiny. HD Soap’s Hair Serum blends apricot, argan, and meadowfoam oil (plus other amazing oils like jojoba, hemp seed, and vitamin E, not to mention cedarwood essential oil) to create a serum that will renew your locks. You don’t need long or chemically-treated hair to appreciate our Hair Serum; this oil is also great for moisturizing beards. When using Hair Serum (as with any type of grooming oil), remember that a little bit goes a long way!
There are a lot of other releases coming to HD Soap in July, and you won’t want to miss any of them! First up is our From Scratch Coconut Milk Soap. This soap is another trusty favorite that we’re excited to welcome back. This unique bar of soap features a rich blend of shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut milk (plus some beeswax…it’s the only bar we make with beeswax!). Our Coconut Milk soap uses blood orange essential oil to give the bar a lightly sweet aroma. Lots of consultants report that this soap makes an excellent shampoo if you’ve been looking for an alternative to commercial shampoos! (Fun fact: this soap was originally released as our Shampoo Bar back in 2016, but most customers weren’t ready for a non-traditional shampoo back then!)
Our square bar for July is an old favorite: get ready to stock up on Morning Mix Square Bars! This olive oil glycerin soap combines our grapefruit and peppermint essential oil blend with fresh mint leaves to create an amazing summer soap. This soap is very popular with our longtime customers, and if you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely need to buy a few!
July also means it is time for a new lippy! Be sure to try our Candied Apple Lip Balm, because this one will only stick around for a few months. This lippy combines a fresh apple flavor oil with olive oil and beeswax to make a smooth and hydrating lip balm.
For the months of July, August, and September, we will be offering our Bath Salts, Fizzy Salts, and Bath Bomb in White Tea & Bergamot! We polled our HD Soap consultants to choose the scent for these products, and this scent was the overwhelming favorite. Again, these products will only be available through September, so you won’t want to miss out!
Lastly we have a new set of Smelly Salts! Since summertime is the perfect time to sit down with a fizzy drink, we’re releasing Champagne, Pink Mimosa, Guava Mojito, Hibiscus Prosecco, and Mermaid Smelly Salts for everyone to enjoy. These fragrances will have you thinking about fruity and sparkling beverages for the rest of summer!
