If you get dry, chapped, or cracked hands, especially in the winter, pamper your hands in three quick and easy steps!
1. WASH
Use one of our most moisturizing From Scratch soaps such as Avocado, Goat’s Milk Honey & Oats, one of our Shaving Soaps, or our seasonal Millionaire’s when it is available. Using a soap that doesn’t dry your skin out even further is very important, especially if you wash your hands several times throughout the day.
2. EXFOLIATE
It is important to get the dry, dead skin off so that the moisturizer soaks into your hands. Our Sugar Scrubs (like Morning Mix or Sweet Citrus) are gentle yet effective by simply rubbing the granules into your hands, concentrating on knuckles or other areas where you have dry skin. Then rinse off and pat dry.
Our new Brown Sugar & Fig Scrub is not as oily as some of our other scrubs, but the consistency is perfect for pampering your hands. Leave it by your sink and grab a few granules each time you wash your hands for a little extra moisturizing boost!
3. MOISTURIZE
This is an incredibly important step in taking care of your chapped or cracked hands! Our best balms for repairing skin are Lanolin & Lavender or the Beard Balm (it is for so much more than just beards!). Make sure you are applying frequently throughout the day, especially after washing and exfoliating. Our Lotion Bars are also very effective and can last longer on your skin since they include shea butter. From October to March, you could also grab your favorite Body Butter!
Take a before and after picture and send them our way! We would love to see your soft, smooth hands.
