The “soap sales force” for HD Soap had great growth in 2020. We have been blessed to welcome over 40 new consultants to our team this past year. We are so humbled that in a year of utter uncertainty, our sales team is still experiencing wonderful growth. We are a small but mighty team of over 200 HD Soap sales reps (plus a handful of wholesale accounts) working to share all of the amazing products that HD has to offer.
We are represented in 24 different states, with most of our reps in Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas; we would LOVE to see that number rise in 2021.
If you have ever been interested in being an HD Soap sales rep, here are some details!
WHAT ARE YOUR MONTHLY MINIMUMS?
We require $100 in retail sales value (RSV) in one month, during a rolling three month period, to be considered an active consultant. For example if you have $100 in RSV for the month of July, you would need to hit $100 again by at least October to remain an active consultant. Inactive consultants no longer have access to their discount, however they are able to pay a $50 fee to become active again. You do not need to build a team (see below), but if you choose to do so, our rolling three-month minimums grow proportionally with the size of the team.
ARE THERE ANY FEES?
We have one fee that is $20 per quarter, which is for our consultants to have a unique website link for online sales. Although we highly recommend it, it is not required; it’s needed only if you plan on selling online.
WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMERS WHO SHOP IN YOUR DORR GIFT SHOP?
We do have a gift shop in Dorr, but consultants do not earn commissions on those sales, even if their customer comes into our store and tells us who their consultant is. The gift shop is completely separate from our consultant program.
WHERE CAN CONSULTANTS SELL?
As a sales rep you are permitted to sell on social media, at home parties, at craft and vendor shows, and via your HD link. We do not permit reps to sell on their own websites, or via Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, etc.
WHAT COMMISSION DO CONSULTANTS EARN?
Consultants can earn a commission any time they sell using their link or by selling stock they have on hand. Our consultants earn 50% commission on what they sell!
DO I HAVE TO BUILD A TEAM OR DOWNLINE?
We are NOT a company that pushes recruiting. We prefer our consultants grow their customer base by selling products, and if they happen to grow a team, that’s just a bonus. If you should decide to grow a team, our commission structure looks like this:
Downline Payout Structure:
1st generation = 3% commission (Team Leader)
2nd generation = 2% commission (Director)
3rd generation = 1% commission (Regional Director)
4th generation = 0.5% commission (National Director)
ARE THERE ANY OPPORTUNITIES TO EARN BONUSES?
Our bonuses are not based on the size of a consultant’s team. EVERY consultant is eligible for a monthly sales bonus, regardless of whether they have a team, are on a team, are a team leader, or even a national director. A consultant must reach $1000 in RSV in a month to qualify for the bonus. Our top nine qualifying consultants (based on RSV) are paid a bonus every month! Our top consultant receives an additional $100, and $50 will be awarded to the next 8 consultants. This means that an additional $500 in bonuses is available to be given away EVERY month! Plus, we would love to add to this bonus as our sales continue to grow year over year!
