Hello! My name is Ashley Martin. I’ve been married for almost six years and have two sweet little girls, Piper and Bristol.
I first heard of Hilltop Designs in January or February of 2016 while on maternity leave. I saw Christine’s segment on Fox 17’s Morning Mix. She was making a sugar scrub. It really piqued my interest for two reasons: I was just starting to dabble into essential oils and going more natural with my beauty products. Second, she said she was located in Hopkins. My ears perked up when I heard this. I am from Hopkins. I lived there a good chunk of my life. It’s a tiny town. I thought it was pretty cool that she was on TV being from such a small town.
The next time I drove through Hopkins, I spotted that Hilltop place where the old grocery store was. Fast forward a few months. A girl I knew from school was a consultant at the time. She invited me to her Facebook party and group. It was there that I learned all about Christine and her products. My first HD purchase was Deodorant and the Charcoal Dry Mask. I loved that they were handmade using minimal ingredients. The deodorant has been a daily staple in my life ever since.
I went back to work part-time after having my first baby. I thought maybe this Hilltop Designs gig could be a fun way to help supplement some money for my family. I really liked what Christine was doing, and I believed in her products. I took the plunge in August 2016 and became a consultant!
Like other consultants have said, this direct sales business is like no other. If it was like all the others, I wouldn’t be a part of it. What I love the most is that I can work this business around my life.
There is no pressure to sell, sell, sell or to grow my team. The minimums are easy to attain and the 50% commission is great!! Christine wants us all to succeed and is always willing to help. I’ve met some great people along the way, Christine and Dan being a few of them. I love that I can pop into the store and chat with them. You can’t say that about many other direct sales companies.
It’s been so fun to watch their business grow over the years! I’m proud to be a part of that!
