Charvocado is a “soap marriage” between two of our best soaps; the result is half detoxifying and half moisturizing!
When you pick up a bar of Charvocado From Scratch Soap, you will receive the benefits that come with using our Activated Charcoal From Scratch Soap. This soap provides excellent cleansing; it also detoxifies and absorbs excess oil. Customers with oily, blemish-prone skin have found relief with this soap, and part of the reason is because of the ingredients! Two of Christine’s favorite ingredients in these bars are the activated charcoal and the spearmint essential oil, which she loves for these reasons:
- Activated charcoal: helps deep clean your skin, removing impurities and pulling the dirt out of your pores. This may help your pores seem smaller, because those impurities are what make pores appear larger.
- Spearmint essential oil: not only does this essential oil smell amazing, but there are so many great health benefits for you and for your skin! Spearmint is the perfect essential oil to use with oil-prone, blemished skin, because it fights against the gunk that causes breakouts.
One of our most moisturizing soaps is our Avocado From Scratch Soap; this is a favorite for all skin types and people love it for their hair! So what makes this bar of soap so special? We think it’s because we use actual avocados; our recipe contains three in every batch of this From Scratch Soap! Avocados are high in healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. This is good news for people who struggle with skin issues like eczema, breakouts, or chapped skin; these nutrients may help with skin repair, skin tone, inflammation, or even protect skin from free radicals. Avocados have been found to increase skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It is highly moisturizing for both skin and hair (some use mashed up avocado as a hair mask!). This ingredient is just plain fantastic for overall skin and hair health!
Another reason we think it’s so special is our use of hemp seed oil. It moisturizes without clogging your pores and is great for all skin types! Not only that, but it doesn’t just hydrate your skin; it actually balances out and regulates the skin’s oil production. Hemp seed oil is also known to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
